Tasks and Responsibilities
Show originalAct in the implementation, support, and evolution of the Elastic platform, ensuring observability, performance, security, and availability of the environments, supporting technology teams in data analysis, logs, and metrics.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, configuration, and tuning of Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
- Create and maintain indices, mappings, and ingestion pipelines.
- Implement Elastic APM and configure Beats (Filebeat, Metricbeat, etc.).
- Develop advanced visualizations in Kibana, using KQL and DSL.
- Work on cluster sizing, shard allocation, and performance optimization.
- Configure security: authentication, roles, and permissions.
- Integrate Elastic with external systems via Logstash and APIs.
- Create automations using Elasticsearch REST APIs and scripts (Python, Shell).
Requirements
- Solid experience with the Elastic Stack (ELK) in production environments.
- Advanced knowledge in monitoring, logs, and observability.
- Experience with distributed and high-availability environments.
- Analytical ability for troubleshooting and performance optimization.
Differentials
- Elastic Certified Engineer certification.
- Experience with Elastic APM in complex environments.
- Experience with automations and advanced integrations.
