We are looking for a Senior Developer to build and evolve financial solutions that require a high level of reliability, security, and transactional consistency.

We are looking for someone with practical experience developing systems that handle third-party funds and who is comfortable tackling challenges such as payments, credit, collections, financial reconciliation, and integrations with financial institutions and payment gateways.

Beyond technical knowledge, this role demands a careful approach to financial integrity, operational traceability, and data security in an environment where every transaction must be reliable and auditable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and evolve backend systems related to financial operations and fund movements;
  • Build solutions focused on transactional consistency, idempotency, and data integrity;
  • Work with monetary value modeling, entries, and concepts related to ledgers;
  • Develop and maintain financial reconciliation processes;
  • Create and integrate APIs with financial institutions, BaaS (Banking as a Service) providers, acquirers, and payment gateways;
  • Implement and evolve integrations based on webhooks, including retry mechanisms and error handling;
  • Ensure operational traceability through audit trails;
  • Handle the protection of sensitive data and the secure management of credentials and secrets;
  • Contribute to a multi-tenant architecture, ensuring isolation and security between different clients/operations;
  • Participate in technical decisions and contribute to the evolution of product architectures;
  • Collaborate with product, business, and technology teams to transform financial needs into robust and scalable solutions;
  • Produce clear technical documentation and communication, including for non-technical audiences.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience with systems that handle third-party funds, such as payment methods, digital accounts, credit, collections, marketplaces with financial disbursements, and ERPs with financial/transactional modules;
  • Practical experience with idempotency and ensuring consistency in financial operations;
  • Knowledge of transactional consistency;
  • Experience with monetary value modeling and ledgers;
  • Experience with financial reconciliation;
  • Experience integrating with APIs from financial institutions, BaaS providers, acquirers, and/or payment gateways;
  • Knowledge of webhooks and retry mechanisms;
  • Knowledge of security practices for sensitive data and secrets management;
  • Experience with audit trails and operational traceability;
  • Knowledge or experience with multi-tenant architectures;
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly and objectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with receivables registries, such as CERC, TAG, Nuclea, or CRDC;
  • Understanding of receivables lien and assignment concepts;
  • Experience with end-to-end credit workflows, including proposals, identity validation, credit bureau checks, policy engines, decisioning, formalization, and disbursement;
  • Experience with configurable rules and policy engines, especially in credit scenarios;
  • Understanding of fraud prevention, device analysis, behavioral signals, and restriction lists;
  • Experience with electronic signatures and contract formalization, including CCBs and terms of adherence;
  • Experience with Pix, including dynamic QR Code payments, Automatic Pix, and reconciliation by transaction identifier;
  • Understanding of boleto and bank collections, including registration, settlement, remittance, and return files;
  • Experience with observability, metrics, alerts, and end-to-end request tracing;
  • Familiarity with PCI-DSS and LGPD as applied to financial and health data;
  • Professional experience in small companies or first-team environments, with greater autonomy and responsibility in building solutions.

Profile We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a senior, pragmatic, and quality-oriented individual who can work autonomously and make technical decisions considering not only the code but also the financial and operational impact of the solutions.

It is important to have an ownership mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work in scenarios where reliability and security are just as important as development speed.

If you have worked in fintechs, banks, payment institutions, credit companies, acquirers, gateways, marketplaces, or financial products, and enjoy solving complex problems involving transactions and money movement, this opportunity may be right for you.
