Data Engineer - PWC|Pentaho

Full degree in IT;

Experience in BI, BIG DATA, and Analytics projects.

Experience in integration, processing, and storage of large volumes of data;

Experience with ETL tools, preferably Informatica PowerCenter and Pentaho;

Experience with relational databases such as: SQL Server, Sybase IQ, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and DB2;

Knowledge of technologies related to the Hadoop ecosystem such as: Hdfs, HBase, MapReduce, Spark, Hive;

Experience in problem domain mastery, understanding functional and non-functional requirements, and business rules to support decision-making.

Experience in defining data pipeline architectures and maintaining current architectures.

Experience in handling various data sources (VSAM, CSV, txt, relational and nosql databases).

Advanced knowledge in SQL;

Experience with Agile Methodology.
