💻 Technologies

All our products are developed internally. Currently, we use the following technologies:

• Backend: Python, Django, Django Rest Framework
• Frontend: JavaScript, React, Next.js

All our infrastructure runs on AWS, and projects using Next.js run on Vercel.

Our entire development workflow is centralized on GitHub.

For CI/CD, we use GitHub Actions and AWS Code Pipeline. Our deployments are automated and triggered by merging a pull request into the main branch of each repository.

🗓 Work Routines

To organize our work routine, we informally adopt some aspects of Scrum.

• Daily: Daily alignment meeting for the technology team.
• Sprints: Our development sprints last two weeks. A sprint usually consists of tasks from ongoing projects plus a set of maintenance tasks (small improvements or bug fixes).
• Production Deploy: Updating production environments with the week's developments.
• Sprint Closure: Review of the sprint's performance and closure of milestones on GitHub. This happens alongside the Deploy meeting.
• Sprint Planning: Opening a new milestone on GitHub and planning the sprint's issues.
  

📢 Communication

The entire Eskolare Technology team works remotely. Clear and effective communication is essential to ensure good performance and workflow progress. We use three communication channels: Slack, Email, and WhatsApp.

⏰ Working Hours

The workload is 8 hours daily, from Monday to Friday. The entire Eskolare team works during business hours. Although there is flexibility in the technology team's start and end times, it is important that working hours fall between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

It is up to each member of the technology team to define their start and end times and lunch break, always keeping in mind scheduled meetings and events.
