Mid-Level Backend Developer - PHP/Laravel

About the role

We are looking for a Mid-Level BackEnd Developer to join our technology team. The position focuses on developing robust and scalable solutions with PHP, Laravel, and MySQL.

The professional will be responsible for creating and maintaining APIs, modeling relational databases, and ensuring the quality and performance of applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications in PHP with Laravel;
• Design, implement, and optimize queries and structures in MySQL databases;
• Build secure and efficient RESTful APIs;
• Write and maintain automated tests with PHPUnit, Pest, or related frameworks;
• Collaborate with the product and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end features;
• Ensure good practices in coding, testing, technical reviews, and version control with Git and GitHub;

Technical Requirements

• Solid experience with PHP and Laravel 10+;
• Proficiency in MySQL and relational data modeling;
• Experience with automated testing (PHPUnit, Pest, or related frameworks);
• Knowledge of AWS Infrastructure;
• Experience with RESTful APIs and development best practices.

Differentials

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
• Experience integrating BI tools (Power BI, Metabase, Looker) or libraries for rendering and generating documents;
• Experience with AI focused on data analysis and manipulation.
