Senior Data Scientist | Remote

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead complex, high-impact analytical solutions
• Define modeling methods, metrics, and strategies
• Conduct and oversee research on new training and usage techniques for SLMs
• Collaborate with engineers and developers to deploy models into production and structure APIs
• Define data and AI strategies aligned with product objectives
• Communicate results, limitations, and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
• Contribute to the training and mentoring of junior data scientists

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience training deep learning models
• Proven experience with production projects and advanced modeling
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a data scientist
• Mastery of machine learning tools and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Solid knowledge in applied statistics, model validation, and evaluation metrics
• Experience with MLOps and deploying models in the cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Technical leadership skills and ability to influence product decisions
• Familiarity with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Practical experience training and fine-tuning LLMs/SLMs
• Experience leading data or AI R&D teams
• Contributions to technical publications, articles, or open-source projects
