Senior PHP Laravel Back-End Developer

Akquinet is a German technology company with a global presence. Operating in Brazil for 14 years, it specializes in developing Master Data Management (MDM) solutions and providing specialized consulting services.

We are seeking a Senior PHP Laravel Developer to work on the development and evolution of a B2B SaaS solution targeted at large enterprises.

This professional will have a hands-on role in product development, participating in technical decisions related to architecture, scalability, performance, security, and the continuous evolution of the platform.

The work model is remote, with an annual in-person visit to the company headquarters in Caxias do Sul – RS. The first 2 weeks may be on-site for training, team integration, and product understanding. All expenses related to these on-site periods will be covered by the company.

Responsibilities

• Work on the development of a B2B SaaS solution.
• Develop new features primarily using PHP Laravel.
• Participate in the evolution of the product's technical architecture.
• Support technical decisions regarding scalability, maintenance, and the continuous evolution of the platform.
• Contribute to defining and adopting development best practices.
• Ensure code quality, performance, security, and maintainability of the application.
• Collaborate with product, business, and implementation teams to transform customer needs into technical solutions.
• Have occasional contact with clients to clarify technical doubts, evaluate improvements, analyze incidents, and assist in identifying solutions aligned with business needs.
• Support technical analyses, fixes, improvements, and the continuous evolution of the platform.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with PHP and Laravel.
• Practical and professional experience with architecture and development of SaaS solutions.
• Experience developing web applications in corporate or production environments.
• Ability to contribute to architecture decisions, development standards, and the product's technical evolution.
• Knowledge of relational databases and modeling best practices.
• Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and web application security.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team.
• Intermediate English proficiency for reading and writing.

Desirable (Plus)

• Experience with B2B solutions for medium or large enterprises.
• Knowledge of Angular.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure.
• Experience in web application performance optimization projects.
• Experience with practices, analyses, or fixes related to SaaS application security.
• Knowledge of scalable architecture, queues, caching, observability, logs, and monitoring.
